In that moment...
Between love and hate,
When everything just fades away
In that moment...
Between passion and pain,
Between secrets and shame
In that moment...
Between tomorrow and today...
Lies silence...
(silence)
(silence)
Have you ever...
Looked deep into her eyes,
Fallen into the abyss,
Before you realized,
That you were lost in the silence?
(Just listen to...the silence...)
I have heard that silence means,
The absence of sound,
But if this is true,
Then tell me,
Why is it so loud,
And why does it drown...?
In that moment...
Between love and hate,
When everything just fades away
In that moment...
Between passion and pain,
Between secrets and shame
In that moment...
Between tomorrow and today...
Lies silence...
(silence)
(silence)
Just listen to the silence!
You can hear so many things!
Words that you're not speaking,
Answers you're not seeking,
Desire encroaching,
Silence taking...everything...
(Just listen to...the silence...)
I have heard that silence means,
The absence of sound,
But if this is true,
Then tell me,
Why is it so loud,
And why does it drown..?
In that moment...
Between love and hate,
When everything just fades away
In that moment...
Between passion and pain,
Between secrets and shame
In that moment...
Between tomorrow and today...
Lies silence...
(silence)
(silence)
(Just listen to...the silence...)
Sometimes words are useless,
Much like over-used excuses
Sometimes, you just have to do it,
Listen to the silence...

The absence of sound,
But if this is true,
Then tell me,
Why is it so loud,
And why does it drown...?"
Brilliant.
I like this even more than your other poem about silence. I really don't know why. Perhaps because I can relate more to this one.
